Octopus officially launches in Budapest
15 September 2025

We're thrilled to announce the official start of OCTOPUS, Offering Cross-disciplinary Training for Inclusive Preparation for School Exams, an Erasmus+ project bringing together partners from Poland, Turkey, and Greece to reimagine how young people prepare for school-leaving exams.
The idea is simple but powerful: learning should reflect what actually interests and motivates students, not just the rigid boundaries of traditional subject divisions. To make that happen, we're building a cross-disciplinary framework that meets young learners where they are.
What we're working on:
- An eBook introducing the framework and its principles
- A gamified online platform bringing the framework to life interactively
- Teacher training to support educators in applying it in the classroom
The project runs from September 2025 to February 2028, with our three partner organisations — Centre for Systems Solutions (CRS) from Poland, Üsküdar MEM from Turkey, and Narratologies from Greece — collaborating every step of the way.
We had our kick-off meeting last week, and the energy in the room was everything we hoped for. Introductions were made, questions were answered, and a shared excitement took hold. We can't wait to see what we build together.
Stay tuned, this is just the beginning. 🐙
